Whether it's programming, fantasy, philosophy, LAARPing, math, aviation, science, or history, there's a lot of the author in this book and it's all presented in an engaging, dramatic, and intriguing manner. I love these characters and want to read more about them!

Way too much farting for me

The dialog was amazing, and complex. The characters were fun and interesting. Forms of the word "fart" was used four times in the first 200 pages, and for such a great book, I don't see why the author has to have so many farts.

Hard sci-fi by a real programmer

Books are great if you read them.

★★★★★ Published by Jon.

This is a great Freshman novel by an established programmer. There's enough science in here for it not to be a "dumb" book, but it never gets so overwhelming that the audience doesn't stay hooked. I found the characters realistic, the dialog flowed, and the plot advances from a simple mystery to the line between hard science fiction and fantasy. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

It's the bastard child of The Martian, Wargames, and The Great and Secret Show

Books are great if you read them.

★★★★★ Published by Sample Entry.

Manages to bring in engaging elements from all three. It's rare to read a book that's fun, science-y, and mind-bending. Definitely didn't see the surprise twists and how it all ended up!

Absurd yet engaging

The mood oscillates between absurdity and forboding. That's kind of fun!
